Look guys, internships are about helping students learn about the industry and provide them with valuable real world experience. They’re also a good indicator of overall company health, like those little fish that hang by sharks or those birds that ride hippos. We’re pleased to have new interns in the office and we thought it would be good to let them share their thoughts on surviving the startup life. Here are a few words from our Design Intern Joe:
Startup life can be an exciting and rich experience for both the team and their clients, which is exactly my experience so far working at Majestyk. I’m Joe Accardi, a recent visual arts graduate from Rutgers University and Design Intern here at Majestyk.
It has only been a little over a week and I am already blown away by what an incredibly positive work experience it has been so far! Since starting, I have taken part in innovative and engaging design projects, such as creating a new visual identity for well-known business growth consultant. I also had the opportunity to create a custom web icon set for the Cognitoys’ Kickstarter page, a project that raised over $177,000 and counting, and has been viewed by people all over the world. It is an incredible feeling knowing that such an audience is viewing your work. I am very excited to say that Majestyk is the foundation of my design career and that it will lay out my path for a successful future!
